On September 6th, the 6th class pupils of City Quay National School made a trip down to the water's edge to celebrate their marine heritage. They learnt about some of the wonderful underwater creatures that live in Dublin Bay, including starfish and anemones! They also learnt how to use a Secchi disk, a tool that helps marine biologists to see how clear the seawater is. The trip was kindly organised and funded by the Heritage Council. |
