Heritage in Schools Scheme

Marine biologists from Marine Dimensions (Sarah Varian and Kylie Corcoran) are currently participating in the Heritage in Schools Scheme, which is run by the Heritage Council and the Irish National Teachers Organisation. This is a great scheme that brings all kinds of heritage specialists into primary schools, covering subjects such as wildlife and habitat studies, traditional arts, crafts and archaeology.
